Objective Based on the grey correlation analysis method, the quality evaluation method of Scutellaria barbata D.Don from different producing areas was established. Methods Fourteen samples of Scutellaria barbata D.Don from different producing areas were collected, the contents of total flavonoids, scutellarin, scutellarein, luteolin, apigenin and extract of Scutellaria barbata D.Don were determined. The grey correlation degree model for evaluating the quality of Scutellaria barbata D.Don was established by grey correlation analysis. Result The relative correlation degrees of all evaluation samples were in the range of 0.267-0.653. Among them, the relative correlation degrees of samples from two producing areas were greater than 0.50, which had high quality evaluation. The relative correlation degrees of the rest samples from other producing areas were less than 0.50, which had low quality evaluation. The samples of Scutellaria barbata D.Don produced in Shaoyang City of Hunan Province, Xinyang City of Henan Province and Anhui growth base ranked the top few in the relative correlation degrees, which had better quality. The samples of Scutellaria barbata D.Don from Shigunhe township of Henan Province, Shouxian county of Anhui Province, Linquan county of Anhui Province ranked the bottom few in the relative correlation degrees, indicating that the samples produced in these areas had poor quality. Conclusion The results of this study can provide a reference basis for the exploitation, utilization and quality evaluation. |
